Nebrasky Plumbing, Heating & Cooling has renewed its commitment to the community by donating 50 fully stocked backpacks to the Town of Wallkill Boys & Girls Club’s annual Backpacks for Hope School Supply Drive. These backpacks will be distributed to children in need throughout northern Orange and Sullivan counties.

Nebrasky invited community members to participate in its efforts to fill 50 backpacks with school supplies throughout late July and early August. Accepted donations included a variety of supplies: notebooks, markers, pens, pencils, pencil cases, erasers, glue sticks, folders, three-ring binders, and much more. Nebrasky took the initiative to donate all 50 backpacks.

In addition to all of the donations received from generous members of our community, a Nebrasky plumbing team member — Eddie Sayer — made a large contribution to the school supply drive by donating 20 of every item on the list.

“This is the seventh year we’ve participated in the Backpacks for Hope initiative, and we continue to be impressed with the generosity of our neighbors and team members,” said Nebrasky owner Paul Nebrasky. “We are especially grateful to Eddie, who invested so much personally to support school kids across the region, and Michelle Ross, our customer service representative and dispatcher who coordinates our involvement in this initiative every year.”
