We woke up to a tired air conditioner on one of the hottest days of the year it was of course not just the hottest day but then doesn’t it always happen that way. We called the Nebrasky Plumbing, Heating & Cooling Company of Monroe, NY and they immediately setup an appointment to have a air conditioner technician specialist come to our house and soon Rob Gold came he came to our door and politely introduced himself and asked as to why we had called I was familiar with our problems with the air conditioner and all other details of our system. He asked to have a short tour through our home and as he went through the house he took note of how our air conditioner system was configured. He then asked to go up in our attic where the temperature had to be at least 100+ degrees to see the attic part to the system and to verify its age and condition. We then went outside to the side of my house where he went to work tearing down our outdoor part of the system he took great pains in removing each panel so as not to bend or damage any panel or break any screw. Once the outside panel was off covering the area where he thought would be the problem and he immediately told me he knew what was wrong that amazed me as he only opened the one panel and without testing or prodding at any part of electrical contact he was able to find the problem. Rob took no chances he did test what he view as the problem parts and sure enough those parts were the cause. He looked at me and told me that he was going to be able to fix my air conditioner as he was installing and testing the parts before putting the outside panels back on and once he was satisfied as to our air conditioners repaired status he said to me let’s go inside the house and as we came in I said that he did a great job getting it back running. Well, he said yes your system will run but not for long he said I could only do some repairs that will allow your air conditioner to run for a little while longer but in truth it will not last long for sure it won’t last the season. He said he would contact the sales department if we would like and we said yes and so he called the office for us and setup an appointment with the sales department for one of their salesmen to come to our home the very next day. We were very happy with Rob Gold he was more than an air conditioner technician he made us feel as though we were talking to one of our best friends or a family member. He was very well versed in all of the workings of the air conditioner product and was able to show us exactly what our problem was with our system and what we would expect if we decided not to start to talk to each other and decide to get a new air conditioner without waiting for our 23 year old air conditioner to just die someday. He even said to us whether you decide to buy from us or someone else that it would be to our benefit if we would act now whether than to wait until we are someday without the cooling that we would need. He was one of the best technicians I have ever had dealings with and I know my wife would say the same thing he even was upset with us when we insisted on giving him a small tip so we had to insist after he wouldn’t take it twice. Rob Gold is a true friend for anyone who is in trouble with their air conditioning if you are fortunate enough to have Rob Gold come to your door with his smile and good manners you are going to get the best service call experience and for sure you will get a true professional and a very personable guy. Nebrasky is one of a kind in the area for service. Multiple people to answer calls and schedule appointments, knowledgeable technicians, and in our case miracle workers. They corrected a plumbing issue that has plagued our house for 70 years and multiple homeowner's. They answer all my questions and provide expectations up front. I went though several plumbers and HVAC companies in the area until calling Nebrasky. Now I'll only call Nebrasky. Update: we purchased an air conditioner through them and it's made life heavenly. Joined the maintenance club so we have no worries of maintenance and repair beyond a monthly filter change. Just as wonderful service as we've had for plumbing.
