Nebrasky Plumbing, Heating & Cooling (Nebrasky) is stepping up to the plate to help raise money in the fight against cancer in the upcoming 2023 Hudson Valley Plane Pull, presented by Men Wear Pink.
“We’ve formed this team because cancer has touched all of us in some way, and we want to stop this disease in its tracks,” said Nebrasky President Paul Nebrasky. “We’ll spend the next few weeks fundraising for the American Cancer Society. Then, on the day of the event, we’ll honor the lives lost to cancer, celebrate survivors, and support the caregivers who so selflessly help others.”
This is Nebrasky’s second year competing; its team took home the second place title last year by raising nearly $2,000 for the cause. This year, the team is aiming for first place and is off to a good start, already raising over $1,180 (as of Sept. 13). With this year’s roster of strong members, Team Nebrasky hopes to surpass its fundraising goal and take home top honors.
The event will take place on Sunday, Oct. 1 at the Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, with activities starting at 9 a.m. Spectators are allowed at the event, and Team Nebrasky would love some extra support from its community.
