Nebrasky Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is participating in Orange County, New York’s Clean Energy Campaign as a Heat Pump Specialist. The Clean Energy Campaign, presented in conjunction with the towns of Highlands and Tuxedo and the villages of Tuxedo Park and Woodbury, was established to teach community members about the benefits of clean energy—both individually, and collectively.
The Clean Energy Campaign will be holding a virtual kick off on May 1 at 5:30 p.m. with a Zoom meeting. Attendees will learn about incentives for converting to clean energy, from their home to their vehicle and beyond. Nebrasky’s Jesse Blitz and Marcos Cordova will be giving a presentation about the value of heat pumps and Nebrasky’s role as the campaign’s Heat Pump Specialist.
“As a local, family-owned business that supports sustainability efforts across the community, we’re honored to play a role in this important public awareness effort,” said Nebrasky owner Paul Nebrasky. “Today’s heat pumps are all-in-one heating and air conditioning systems that are extremely efficient and affordable to operate without burning fossil fuels like oil, propane, or natural gas. That’s good news for both the environment and your wallet.”
Nebrasky is also a New York State Clean Heat Contractor. This program encourages residents, small businesses, and commercial and multifamily building owners to install cold climate air source heat pumps (ASHP), energy-efficient ground source heat pumps (GSHP), and heat pump water heaters (HPWH), by a statewide network of trusted professionals, trained to deliver the highest-quality heat pump installations and energy efficiency services for your home.
Throughout the spring season, Orange County’s Clean Energy Campaign will hold a series of public events where the Nebrasky team and others will be on hand to spread the word about how community solar, converting to heat pumps, and buying an electric vehicle can benefit residents, businesses, and the environment. PLUS, the Nebrasky team will be available for one-on-one consultations for those interested in estimates and learning more about the process of converting an existing system to a heat pump.
