Nebrasky Plumbing, Heating & Cooling’s second annual Toilet Bowl Races were a huge, wacky success at the 2025 Hudson Valley Plane Pull this past weekend, helping the company raise nearly $4,000 for the American Cancer Society (ACS). The Nebrasky team also had a strong showing in the main event, pulling a plane to a second-place finish.

Overall, the Hudson Valley Plane Pull raised an impressive $53,787, surpassing its goal of $50,000. The Toilet Bowl Races contributed to that total, helping Nebrasky raise an impressive $3,889 for the American Cancer Society. The races drew nearly 90 participants, with carts sponsored by Nebrasky’s partners, manufacturers, and suppliers. The total included $1,000 from sponsorships, $1,179 from race entries, and $1,710 raised by Team Nebrasky for the Plane Pull event.

In the main event, Team Nebrasky had an impressive showing. They managed to pull a United/GoJet plane 100 feet in 31.13 seconds, earning them a second place finish.

We had a great time raising money to fight this deadly disease, and we’re looking forward to making next year’s event even bigger.”

The Toilet Bowl Races were an innovative twist on a traditional relay. Participants competed head-to-head on toilet bowls mounted to carts, using plungers to propel themselves 20 feet to the finish line. Each entrant made a minimum $5 donation to the ACS.

The annual Hudson Valley Plane Pull brings the community together to honor cancer survivors, spread awareness about prevention, and above all, raise funds to help save lives.
