Don’t Let Spring Showers Turn into Costly Plumbing Problems

Don’t Let Spring Showers Turn into Costly Plumbing Problems-Blog-image

Spring showers might be good for your lawn—but saturated soil pushes against underground pipes, and shifting temperatures stress fixtures that barely made it through winter. As homes across Orange County and the greater Hudson Valley thaw out, increased water usage exposes weak points that have been developing out of sight.

The result? Plumbing problems that show up right when you least expect them.

The Hidden Wear & Tear of Winter

Even if everything seems to be working fine, your plumbing system may be showing early signs of stress.

  • Minor leaks in supply lines or valve seats
  • Gradual drops in water pressure
  • Sediment buildup in your water heater
  • Slow drains that come and go
  • Shut-off valves and aging components nearing failure

These aren’t urgent—yet. But they’re exactly the kinds of issues that flood a basement or damage walls if ignored.

Free Whole-Home Plumbing Inspection

A professional inspection gives you a clear, documented understanding of your home’s plumbing system before small concerns turn into costly repairs.

During the visit, a licensed plumber will evaluate your plumbing system, check water quality and pressure, inspect fixtures and key components, and document everything so you can catch issues early, prevent water damage, improve efficiency, and extend the life of your water heater and other critical systems.

This service is available at no cost for Home Care Club members and customers with a recent HVAC install—no upsells, no exceptions.

$99 Spring Plumbing Services

Spring is our slower season before summer demand picks up. We’re using open appointment slots to help homeowners get ahead of problems—which is why these services are available at a fraction of their regular cost through May 31.

Water Heater Flush – $99 (Reg. $340)

Over time, sediment buildup inside your water heater reduces efficiency, causes noise, and leads to inconsistent hot water.

This service is for you if:

Your unit is 5+ years old, takes longer to heat, or makes popping or rumbling sounds.

A professional flush improves performance and reliability, extends the life of your system, and delivers more consistent hot water.

Main Line Camera Inspection – $99 (Reg. $250)

Not all plumbing problems are visible. A camera inspection lets you see exactly what’s happening inside your main line—so you can fix the actual problem instead of treating symptoms.

This service is for you if:

You’ve noticed slow or inconsistent drains, gurgling sounds, or recurring backups in multiple fixtures.

One service per household, per year.
